Days In The Dark with Krunk!

"I'd be in my room and it'd be blacked out. I didn't want to talk to anyone. I'd miss birthdays, I'd miss events...I just didn't want to see anyone, I didn't want to talk to anyone and I had to ask myself why am I feeling like this? I think I just had to face every single insecurity, every single fear about myself that I'd been putting off..."

These aren't the words you might expect to hear from Elia Mitani aka Krunk, a DJ and producer known for big time bangers and bringing a whole lot of good vibes...But it's the truth.

Elia's spent much of his young adult life riding the EDM wave into a fully fledged music career that’s allowed him to live the high energy lifestyle he loves.

Enjoying years of success, he got used to performing and being on the scene - getting on flights every weekend, playing at clubs and festivals all over australia and overseas. Its been his release and his main source of connection to the fans he creates for.

In 2020 it's all been taken away - and he’s been forced to come down off that high and face all the fears and insecurities he’d always been able to distract himself from.

This period of deep reflection has dragged Elia through some dark moments and made him question everything - but its also ultimately made him a better man.

He’s sharing his story for all the other artists doing it tough and showing that true strength comes from the finding the bravery to be vulnerable.
