Losing Your Parents and Gaining Purpose with Ryan Waite

Ryan Waite is a Youth Worker who spends most of his days sharing his life experience to help guide young men in a positive direction.

Just 25, Ryan has survived more hardship than most. After his mother passed away when he was 11, Ryan's dad descended into alcoholism and became abusive, forcing Ryan to move out of home with his brother as a teen.

Ryan battled with anxiety and depression and even after finding a great psychologist, fell in with the wrong crowd and turned to drugs to avoid facing his emotions. In his early twenties, Ryan's dad died of cancer and he felt so lost he planned on suicide; but fortunately it wasn't to be the end.

Throughout it all, Ryan has been living with ADHD, a condition he views as his super power. Now he's a Muay Thai fighting weapon and inspiration to many, with a heart of gold he's deeply thankful is still beating.
