His young life has been haunted by trauma since running for his life from militia who wanted him dead...and his troubles were only just beginning.

Chance is a refugee from the Congo who hasn't seen his family since he was 9. He's had the world on his shoulders with everything against him, enduring suffering that would have been more than enough for most to give up...but he hasn't.

He made it to Australia only to find himself homeless. Miraculously putting himself through school while sleeping on the streets...That was before he became a mentor for disadvantaged youth, in the hope of keeping others out of the darkness that threatened to swallow him whole.
